Dr. Clark Browne has been creating beautiful smiles for many years in Birmingham. Dr. Browne completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and complete his Orthodontics residency at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Graduate Orthodontic Department in Birmingham.
Dr. Browne is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Alabama Association of Orthodontists, Alabama Dental Association, University of Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association and the Birmingham District Dental Society. He has served in numerous leadership roles within these organizations. He is past president of the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Alabama Association of Orthodontists, the UAB Orthodontic Alumni Association and the Birmingham District Dental Society. Dr. Browne has earned several honors, including the Alabama Orthodontic Association's Distinguished Service Award and the Southern Association of Orthodontists' Distinguished Service Award.
Dr. Browne currently serves as a part-time Associate Clinical Professor at the UAB School of Dentistry in the Department of Orthodontics.
In giving back to the community, Dr. Browne has volunteered with the United Way, United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham, Children’s Harbor at Children's Hospital and Jefferson County Dental Health. He has also coached with Homewood and Vestavia Community Sports as well as taught youth Sunday School.
In his spare time, Dr. Browne enjoys spending time outdoors, photography and woodworking. He is also a master gardener and loves animals.
